Pevensey Bay Model Railway Club East Sussex

Hello and Welcome to our Website

Located in the village of Pevensey Bay, a mile east of Eastbourne, UK on the sunny Sussex coast, the club boasts a friendly membership dealing in model railways of all shapes and sizes. Every week there will be some model railway construction taking place but also a fair amount of talking about other rail related matters plus, of course, putting the world to rights!

The club was formed in 2010 and meets every Monday evening from 7pm to 9.30 pm at the Ethel Wood Community Hall, Coast Road, Pevensey Bay (see Events for actual dates or variations). We also hold an annual exhibition in July each year which is always very popular. The 2022 one was also very successful being held at the new location of Victoria Baptist Church Hall in Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE, which is a spacious local and large venue with good access (see News).  Club meetings were able to resume in mid 2021 and even if most people have been vaccinated common sense will be still be needed to keep everyone safe.

Several layouts are under construction, which include UK 00 gauge, UK and European N gauge, using a mixture of both analogue and digital control. The progress of some of these layouts can be found in our club layout pages. You will also be able to see how some of our members are progressing with their own layouts in the member's layout pages when this is finally added.

If you are interested in joining our club, or simply want some advice, in the first instance contact our Secretary secretary@pevenseybaymodelrailwayclub.com or leave a message on this website and we will get back to you.
